Dear Friends,
The last two years have been difficult and challenging for us all in many respects. The tough times of fighting the COVID pandemic were unexpectedly followed by a devastating war with all its horrors. As a result, Armenia dealt with a harsh new reality – injured serviceman, many with psychological trauma; hundreds of displaced families; destroyed infrastructure in Artsakh; vulnerable border communities with acute social problems, such as irrigation water, lost lands and economic downfall.
Thanks to the unity of our nation and constructive collaboration between Armenia and the diaspora, from the very first days of the outbreak of COVID-19 and the war every effort was made both to control the effects of the Pandemic and to overcome the post-war crisis. Through the joint efforts, hundreds of soldiers found strength and the support to return to a full life, the residential buildings, houses, educational institutions and strategic roads currently being constructed in Artsakh help our compatriots start a new life with hope for future.
Thanks to the vital projects currently underway in a number of villages of Syunik and Tavush regions, our border communities will stand firm on their land. The large-scale housing project in Gyumri will make a huge difference in the living conditions of the families in need and ensure a better life for all. The socio-economic situation of Lebanese Armenians, caused by multiple crisis over the last few years, is being alleviated through the Fund’s continued vital financial support.
United around common goals, Armenia, Artsakh and the diaspora will face up to all the challenges with new determination. Today more than ever, we must ensure the continuity of these vital projects and the development of new ones.
We extend our sincere gratitude to all those who have supported our projects, helping our compatriots look to the future with renewed hope and optimism.
With best wishes,
Hayastan All Armenian Fund Team
