Dear Friends and Compatriots
The ARPA Institute will celebrate its 30th Anniversary in 2022. The ARPA team has been working steadily in Armenia for the past 29 years trying to help advance science, technology, healthcare, the economy, agriculture, transportation system, mining, energy and other areas, through working with the various Ministries, the National Academy of Sciences and the universities. Our Health Education and Lifestyle Project (HELP) was designed and implemented to teach the students about the terrible effects of smoking, heavy drinking and the advantages of healthy living to the 7-8th graders. The Annual Invention Competition has been guiding graduate Students and Young Scientists to be innovative and work towards creation of products and thus help the economy. Our Distance Learning Program has been transferring information on the latest technologies for the benefit of the young men and women to explore and learn. The first modern blood bank, that we created in the Erebuni Hospital has done a tremendous job in helping wounded soldiers and the public for many years. The ARPA Institute initiative of establishment of science fairs in all schools in Armenia will hopefully teach the youth how to be innovative and solve problems using the scientific method, help them learn how to do research and experimentation, analyze data and present their project to judges in a convincing manner. Our cooperation and assistance to the Molecular Biology Institute, the Physical Research Institute, the Chemical Physics Institute, the Alikhanyan National Lab, the Polytechnic and the Yerevan State Universities, we believe has made an impact towards the advancement of scientific and technological research in Armenia. We will continue working towards these goals as long as we can depend on our community support and financial assistance.
