We have planned a day-long program that will take place on Saturday, May 23rd, 2020, which will include engaging lectures, interesting discussions, and time to catch up with your friends! Seminar will take place from 10:45AM to 3:00PM Eastern Standard Time, with a special surprise at 7:00PM that night.
“Packing List” for Seminar:
-Smart phone, tablet or laptop with camera and microphone
-Phone and/or laptop charger
-(Juniors) Postcard, which you should receive in the mail!
-Your favorite AYF/Armenian t-shirt to wear all day
-A packed lunch for lunch break
In order to host the most productive and educational seminar possible given the circumstances, we have decided to maintain separate age groups for this year’s seminar – Younger (10-12), Middle (13-14), and Older (15-16). This will ensure that lectures are engaging for all, and that you have ample time to see your friends online.
If you are 17 years of age, you will still be able to participate in a virtual LIT program which will take place on Sunday, May 24th, 2020. The LIT program will take place from 11:00AM to 1:00PMPM Eastern Standard Time.
Lastly, we have decided to implement a junior to senior ratio that will best benefit our junior participants. For this reason, 1 senior will receive a Zoom link for about every 5 juniors. If any registered seniors are not able to call in, we will have a private Facebook Livestream of our Zoom call where you can watch along. We encourage all seniors who are interested in participating to sign up as soon as possible!
