YEVA tells the story of a young woman who escapes her influential in-laws with her daughter after her husband's tragic death and takes refuge in a village in Artsakh. Yeva is a complete stranger in this village and is obliged to live her daily life in disguise until one day…. The film stars Artsakh-born actress Narineh Grigoryan. It has premiered at more than 40 festivals worldwide and won over 20 awards, including the Golden Apricot International Film Festival and the Montréal World Film Festival. It was also Armenia's 2018 entry to the Academy Awards and winner of the Narrative Feature category at the 2019 SR Socially Relevant Film Festival. YEVA has a running time of 94 minutes and is not rated. It is in Armenian with English subtitles. Prior to the initial screening, a private link will be emailed.
