Une interview d’Alice Kanterian
Signal! jazzahead! 2019 and Norway everywhere-interview with the jazz musician Karl Seglem about Bremen and jazzahead! 2020
Since when do you attend Jazzahead and how did you first time hear of it?
2008. 2008!
2. You are based in Oslo and travel a lot, why do you come to Bremen, what do you expect from Jazzahead?
To hear the best European jazz, meet friends, enjoy the Messe. Such a great atmosphere, so mamny nice people – and the music is in focus –
3. How was the 2019 edition with Norway as partner country? You had a great showcase on the 25.04 at Schlachthof!
It was a blast. I am very happy about it – and hope to see some results in 2021 when a new album and tour is coming up ;-)
Schlachthof AND alte Sendesaal is some of the greatest stages in Germany and I hope to come back and play there –4. What surprizes will you bring this year to Bremen? Last year you brought an entire lamb…
It was a goat-leg salted and dried ( for about 6 months) – perfect with a good Spätburgunder, that I like very much…. ;-)
This year….? hmm….. maybe some more of the same – 2 goat legs! And off course some horns –
5. What makes Bremen so special, why does the entire jazzcomunity travel to Bremen?
It´s a "warm" city – I mean friendly and with space. I like to run along the "lake/river" – and more –
Always great to come there
SEE YOU DEAR ALICE
