Nayiri Nahabedian est soutenue par les officiels de GUSD & GCC (Glendale Community College)

Earlier today, Nayiri Nahabedian announced the endorsements of her colleagues Glendale Unified School District School Board President Jennifer Freemon and Member Dr. Armina Gharpetian, as well as Glendale Community College Board of Trustees President Dr. Vahe Peroomian, Vice-President Anthony P. Tartaglia, Board Trustee Dr. Amine Hacopian, and Trustee Ann H. Ransford.

“Nayiri Nahabedian is a passionate advocate for public education. She is a strong voice for equity, opportunity, and achievement for each and every student,” said GUSD Board President Jennifer Freemon. “The GUSD needs her on the school board to ensure that our students are getting the best possible education we can offer,” she added.

“Nayiri has been a champion of education for over a decade and during that time, I have had the pleasure of working with her numerous times. She has always supported joint projects between Glendale Community College and GUSD, and has been instrumental in the success of many of these. I fully support her reelection to the GUSD board,” stated GCC Board President Vahe Peroomian.

“I’m overwhelmed by the support of my colleagues in the education field. I look forward to our continued work together. I’m fortunate to serve in a city with so many dedicated individuals committed to help all our students,” noted Nahabedian upon receiving the endorsements.

Nahabedian’s work has succeeded in avoiding teacher layoffs, reducing bullying, expanding dual-language and career/technical programs, while keeping the focus on providing a first-class education for the children of Glendale Unified.  READ ON
