In a letter to the Armenian Assembly of America, former Vice President Joseph R. Biden, Jr. said that the United States must reaffirm the Armenian Genocide. Biden sent a congratulatory letter honoring Congresswoman Jackie Speier (D-CA) for receiving the Assembly’s Deukmejian Award for Public Service.
“The United States must reaffirm, once and for all, our record on the Armenian Genocide. As a co-chair of the Congressional Caucus on Armenian Issues, Congresswoman Speier has been an unfailing champion on this important issue.
