A ce jour, 12 ciné-débats ont été organisés. Le public est très enthousiaste ; en revanche, il est très difficile de trouver des lieux, des dates pour organiser une projection. La diaspora française s’est montrée trop timide quant à l’idée de promouvoir ce film. Rien à Paris, Valence, Romans, Marseille… Je continue de déployer quelque énergie pour trouver d’autres dates.
The film “The Art of Being Alive” in France. : At the moment, 12 film discussions have been organized. The audience was very enthusiastic, and the discussions were very interesting. However, it must be stated that it is very difficult to find suitable places and dates to organize the screening.
Unfortunately, I must say that the French Armenian community has shown a very uncertain attitude towards the dissemination of this film. In Paris, Valence, Romans, Marseille, no city was much interested in the film… Nevertheless, I continue to find opportunities to the best of my ability to organize other screenings.
En revanche, devant l’absence de soutien en Arménie, la version arménienne du film n’a jamais été projetée dans ce beau pays que j’aime tant. Même le festival Golden Apricot n’en a pas voulu. In Armenia, too, due to the lack of support, the Armenian version of the film has never been shown in that beautiful country that I love so much. Even the “Golden Apricot” Film Festival did not want to show it. So, I decided to post this subtitled version on YouTube for free.
