About four years ago, a remote camera in Armenia's Caucasus Wildlife Refuge captured the tail of a Caucasian leopard. Also know as a Persian leopard, the majestic animal dates back a millennia in Armenia's history and iconography, but hadn't been see in the area in years. Hearing this story, Astrid was inspired to capture the beauty of this majestic creature in a beautiful silk medium.
